ABOUT ME

My name is Sara Papini; an art historian, authorised tour guide, a professional personal shopper and mother of my two year old girl, Anita. I was lucky enough to be born and raised in Florence. My city is my passion, and I cannot wait to share it with you.

After I received my degree in History of Art from the University of Florence, I decided to leave for London where I lived for a year. Upon my return, I chose to combine my love for art, culture and communication in the profession of an authorized tour guide of my beautiful city, Florence. For ten years, I have been designing and leading tours that I have curated for visitors of all ages and all interests. I will tell you the legends of the past whilst we walk through her streets and encounter buildings and artworks of unparalleled beauty. I will tell you of the men and women who rendered Florence great, of the frescoes (wall paintings) that light up your heart, of the marble giants that make up our landscape, and many of the city’s most curious anecdotes and traditions. In summary, ours will be a passionate, fun and original journey, and you wil discover Florence with me!
